I Wish That Voice Was In My Head

In the last three years, I have given the same presentation 45 times. Granted, my audiences are blessed with a compelling speaker, someone who combines a Bono-like charisma with the rapier wit of a modern day Oscar Wilde. And, of course, the physical presence of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. They are captivated, moved to laughter and tears in a rising crescendo of emotion, until it finally ends and it is all they can do to resist rushing the lectern to engulf me in their love.

On the other hand, I'm beginning to hate the sound of my own voice. I wish I knew a joke in Esperanto. That would break things up a little.

Saluton! Ĉu vi parolas Esperanton?

No, I don't speak Esperanto, but it would still be more interesting (to me at least) than the same jokes I keep using over and over.

Hey Snag, this dawned on me while Bono was crooning on my car radio... if you have the charazzzma of Bono, the wit of Oscar, the physical presence of... (at first I thought you meant the 6 Million Dollar Man, but Grizzled informed me this person is a wrestler)"Stone Cold" Steve Austin, then what are you doing in no man's land??? Hmmm? Why isn't William Morris knocking down your door? Where's your talk show? And if you had a talk show, what would it be called? Snagtacular? Snagapalooza? Snag 'n Friends??
