Don't Get No Better

Meeting him was one of the great moments in my life.

By "him" I mean Ben, who was inside when this photo was taken.

Snag with one of Ben's sons and Mrs. Ben.

P.S. Seriously. They were some of the nicest people I've ever met.

I grew up in D.C., never been to Ben's.

I remember Armando's Pizza, dough.'

Or maybe it was Armands?

Time keeps on slipping...

Sad. Great man. Great place. I don't give a DAMN about people that grouse that going there if you don't live in the neighborhood is "pretentious" or if it is filled with a bunch of wannabes. Those people are _______. Rest in peace.

Ben's is seriously awesome for all the right reasons. Not so fond of Armand's though Thunder. Not even close to the best pizza in the area. The columnist is clouded in her thinking. However, I was fond of the all-you-can-eat pizza bar back when I was in grad school (and not fat)...

I think we're through the looking glass here, folks. Weirdness and alternative universes seem to converge on Befouled.

Also, I think it is Bono that looks like Snag. And also like a guy I shot darts with.

Fish, I don't remember loving the Armands pizza, mostly I went there for the submarines.

Then when I went off to New Haven, I discovered great pizza. And grinders.

PEPE'S!

I love New Haven's pizza. Lived north of NH for several years. Went to Pepe's for pizza an Toad's Place for a show.
