This is the kind of stuff I want to read to my daughter.
Can any of you technical geniuses tell me why the bison image scanned larger when it was actually the same width as the aardvark??
Because bisons is larger than aardvarks, silly.

These are great you guys!
The images are scanned at different resolutions and image sizes. Actually, if you click on them, you will see that the aadvark picture is bigger than the bison (although at a lower resolution). Blogger is resizing them to fit on the page (and doing it slightly differently because, I don't know).
Details:
Aardvark: 15in w X 16in h
res 96pixels/in
Bison: 2.1in w X 1.8in h
res 300pixels/in
To get them all the same size, you need to set the scanner to the same settings every time (and use the same scan selection box)
They're both roughly 9x9in in reality... and when I sent them to Snag, I sent the huge files as well as the smaller email-friendly ones in case Blogger wouldn't take the files over a certain size... Oh well, the hard copies are the same.
