I saw Todd a couple years back, touring with Joe Jackson; both of them doing a solo kind of thing, Joe on piano and Todd on guitar. a string quartet named Ethel opened (they did the Deadwood theme music).
As a finale, they all came out and massacreed "Black Maria" and "While My Guitar Gently weeps"
Here, he was apparently doing a Budget Bowie kind of look. There were a lot of drugs in the 70s.

Todd is God! Or so they say...
I was never a Todd fanatic, but he is definitely a part of my life's soundtrack.
Only 2 comments for a Todd Rundgren post?
I hate you all.
Pitchforkers.
I can't get past the bedazzled eyebrows. Very disconcerting. Almost as if he'd had some terrible accident involving a butane lighter.
Creepy
I sadly have a hard time getting in Rundgren. And it's not just the eyebrows.
Y'all are on your own with Rundgren.
Not liking Todd Rundgren.
I swear I don't understand these kids today, Snag.
I will laugh like a Moose-hyena when they get a bit older and rediscover the rich history now being mined by the Arcade Fire and Of Montreal....
Now, I like The Todd.
And Snag, I will never make you change...
for a dollar.
