Tommy stared at the floor. He didn’t speak. He didn’t move.
“Woodard?” Jackie repeated. His voice was rising. “Do you know who Woodard is?”
“The guy?” Tommy asked hesitantly.
“What the fuck is wrong with you? Woodard’s not the guy.”
“Who is he?”
“He’s my fucking dentist.”
